The Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) is a right-wing policy and communications group that focuses its efforts on stopping any and all climate action — even going so far as to create an initiative devoted to making “the moral case for fossil fuels” and opposing environmental protections.
Koch Network
In addition to getting money directly from oil companies like Exxon Mobil and Chevron, the foundation has received millions of dollars from billionaire Charles Koch-linked organizations, including over $2 million just between 2020 and 2021 from the Charles Koch Institute. Inadvertent disclosures reveal that it has also been directly funded by Koch Industries. TPPF is also an affiliate member of the Koch-linked State Policy Network.
