Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA-PLA) is an anti-choice organization that, in its own words, “exists to end abortion.” It seeks to ban abortion in the states and impose a national abortion ban. It’s research wing, the Charlotte Lozier Institute, has spread medical disinformation about abortion, with the group’s widely publicized articles claiming mifepristone is dangerous, which medical consensus disagrees with, being retracted by Sage Publications. SBA-PLA is also a supporter of the Heritage Foundation’s controversial Project 2025.
Leonard Leo
Leonard Leo’s Concord Fund gave Susan B. Anthony Pro Life America a combined total of nearly $3.7 million in 2019, 2021, and 2022. Leo’s 85 Fund additionally gave the organization $175,000 in 2020.
