The Center for Growth and Opportunity is an academic and policy center at Utah State University that functions as a libertarian mouthpiece.
Koch Network
The Center for Growth and Opportunity was established in 2017 at Utah State University with a $25 million grant from billionaire Charles Koch through the Charles Koch Foundation. Ryan Stowers, executive director and board member of the Center, is also executive director of the Koch Foundation. In 2018, the Utah State University Faculty Senate launched a task force charged with monitoring Charles Koch’s influence on academic freedom at the University. The Center is an affiliate member of the Koch-linked State Policy Network.
