Supreme Transparency

Job Creators Network is a billionaire-funded “small business” right-wing policy shop that most recently urged the Supreme Court to block student debt relief in 2023’s Biden v. Nebraska.

Horatio Alger Association
Multi-billionaire Bernard Marcus, a member of the Horatio Alger Association, co-founded the Job Creators Network in 2010 with a $500,000 donation. Along with other billionaires, Marcus continues to fund Job Creators Network through his family foundation, contributing $2.9 million between 2011 and 2015 alone. The Marcus Foundation also gave the organization a combined $4 million in 2020, 2021, and 2022. The 2022 grant of $2 million was nearly half of the Job Creators Network’s $4.2 million revenue that year.

Philip Anschutz
Multi-billionaire Philip Anschutz — who took over his oil tycoon father’s businesses — is a repeat funder of the Job Creators Network. As an example, he contributed $300,000 through his foundation between 2014 and 2016. Anschutz is also a member of the Horatio Alger Association.
